output stereo RCA from HDMI?

Is there an inexpensive way to get stereo signal to my older, but excellent, sound receiver? It doesnt have digital inputs and I really don't want to output stereo at questionable quality from my TV's headphone jack to my receiver. I guess I could go component cable but then there is a visual downgrade.
