Please, help me find a game from my childhood

When I was a kid in Brazil, I used to play a SMS game. It was a side scrolling game where you controlled what I thought it was a cop. First stage(s) the cop only had his gun. As the game progresses, he gets an armor. The twist is: Everytime he gets hit, a part of the armor falls. You can recover by getting power ups. But in general it was quite hard for me as a kid.

Probably a game released by Tec Toy. My friends used to call this game "Robocop", but it is definitely not Robocop.
