Amazon Renewed?

Hey guys, I plan on buying 2 PS3s in the next two weeks. I have a few local options with one deal already lined up. Amazon sells a renewed model for $135 which seems pretty criminal this late in the game. Is the price worth it if its a bomber system? What's "renewed"? Any experiences? I plan on putting down about 700 hours of gaming on them
