Issues with games

Hi all. I was helping an acquaintance with modding his nes classic and I loaded up a extremely large amount of games (the nes games found in the pinned post of r/roms) and it works fine until I load up the games. When I load up the games, the screen goes black for a second, then returns to the main menu. I am only using NES games. This only happens with the games im adding. Halp?
