AC adapters for the minis?

I'm getting both the turbografx-16 and pc engine mini consoles soon and I was wondering if it is possible to use my snes classic adapter with them or since my tv has usb ports if I could just plug it straight into my tv instead? Sorry if it is a stupid question but I'm not to familiar with the differences in power supply and don't want to overheat or do any damage
