Skill dozer update.

A video game arcade cabinet, also known as a video arcade machine or video coin-op, is the housing within which a video arcade game's hardware resides. Most cabinets designed since the 1990's conform to the JAMMA wiring standard.

Skill dozer update.

Post by /Arcade »

So here is an update on my Skill Dozer 2.
1 reconditioned the coin mechs. Scrapped off a lot of rust and replaced the switches. Had to bend the 3 point wire to fit my coin mech but it now allows quarter through when powered. Found out it has a magnet that blocks coins from the coin box when not powered.

  1. Replacing the light strips on the side with leds. Half the lights don't work and i burnt out the flasher anyways.
  2. Replaced the ring florescent bulb.
  3. Leveled the play field with the rest of the game.
To do:

  1. Paint some exposed wood
  2. Reatrach the plexi glass
  3. Replace prize switch (on order)
  4. Put coin mechs back in
  5. Put top back on
  6. Test game or functionallity
Notes: never have i gotten a game that doesn't need any of the small incandescent bulbs. Inspected all of them and their filaments are intact.
