Any opinions on Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Any opinions on Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

So I was a huge fan of the original Hoenn games but I’m unsure about diving into that world again. I already have Ultra Sun but I don’t like the hand holding in the beginning of the game. I’m looking at buying Alpha Sapphire for around $30 and I’m wondering if it’s a good buy for the system. If not, do you guys have any other games that you’d suggest.
