As long as I'm bringing up obscure arcade games set in medieval Asia, I should give a shout out to Genpei Toma Den (or Toumad

A video game arcade cabinet, also known as a video arcade machine or video coin-op, is the housing within which a video arcade game's hardware resides. Most cabinets designed since the 1990's conform to the JAMMA wiring standard.

This was another fantastic (and difficult) game. On different levels, there were different perspectives with different playing styles. The production design was beautiful and the music was particularly compelling. One thing I haven't seen in YouTube playthroughs is when you get killed, you have to fight your way through the underworld before continuing your journey.
Anyone who speaks Japanese, I would be interested in what all the narration in Japanese says.
