There's something strange regarding the eShop version of Cave Story

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

There's something strange regarding the eShop version of Cave Story
I have noticed that the USA version of Cave Story on the eShop is a lot bigger and heavier than the EUR version of the same game
Anyone knows why that might be? I've played both USA and EUR versions, but I didn't seem to find any difference
