Smudges/Blemishes on inside of top 3ds screen?

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Smudges/Blemishes on inside of top 3ds screen?

There's these spots on my (original) 3ds screen that I suspect is from the inside of the screen because no matter what I do, I can't get it off without a teardown. Has anyone had this issue or does anyone have any ideas for how I should go about fixing this?
