Please assist

I have followed some tutorials on "adding" extra games to my SNES classic. I've added a variety of extra SNES games as well as some Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and GBA games to it. But I have hit a but of a snag. I successfully added the official version of the original Trials of Mana, but it takes me to a never ending black screen when I try to play it. My SNES classic even played the fan translated version no prob. Any way I could remedy this?
