Using DS3 with Nintendo Switch and PC (with ScpToolkit)

Hi community, I have a bit of an issue, I bought an 8bitdo adapter for my DS3 to use with my Nintendo Switch, and I can pair it succesfully (after having to research a post that tells you to download Sixaxispairtool), but whenever I want to use it with my PC again, the bluetooth works, but if I want to keep it wired (to charge it ,etc.) the PC won't recognize my DS3 controller anymore, unless I reinstall the SCP drivers for both the bluetooth and the USB connection, it's a hassle having to do this, anyone got a suggestion for making this faster? or is it just the only way? I don't really know much, it's my first 8bitdo adapter.
