Driver install issues

I've been trying to sync my nes/snes minis in order to dump the kernel and add a few games but I can't get the driver to install. I've attempted to disable driver enforcement in command prompt and tried a program call xxx unsuccessfully. Used multiple usb cables, including the oem cable. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and would greatly appreciate some advise. I'm running 64 bit windows vista
