Having trouble with the latest Hakchi

I cannot get Illusion of Gaia to work through Retroarch , every time I boot the game up the screen is black for a few seconds and then goes back to the menu. I did put the —Retroarch on the end of the command line also but I don’t know what to do. It worked before when I had a prior Hakchi version.
