Playing NTSC games on a PAL Wii

Post by /Wii »

Hello! Here is the situation:
- My cousin have an unmodified NTSC Wii console with a faulty laser and a lot of original first party Wii games that he can't play because of the faulty laser. (He has the Wii since 2006)
- I have a modified PAL Wii to play games through a USB hard drive, because I don't care about playing original discs, therefore my laser is intact and working just fine.
- My PAL Wii have Priiloader installed with the option "REGION FREE EVERYTHING" enabled so I was wondering... Can my PAL Wii play NTSC discs through the Disc Channel like usual? because I want to swap Wiis with my cousin so he can play his original games, and I could hack the NTSC console and keep it since I don't care about the faulty laser...

Any advice would be very appreciated, thanks!
