Help With OPL 0.9.3

I have a 0.9 copy of opl that I haven't been able to get the usb games to load with. So I tried swapping to the new 0.9.3 and it doesn't seem to load for me. Whether I'm using my Mrsiir Key Launcher or uLaucher I'm just getting a black screen. It's not writing the config files or anything. What am I missing? I did not do this soft modding myself so I've just been learning on the fly.
