PCE to MSX to GEN to M30
This is my third attempt at finding a budget solution to a 2.4ghz wireless controller using the 8bitdo M30. What this is, is a PC Engine to MSX adapter, with a MSX to Megadrive adapter. My previous attempt failed, due to the MSX to Megadrive adapter not working correctly. With a replacement hooked up, this actually works really well and for under $30USD.
Pros: Fairly small, but could be smaller. I may desolder the male and female MSX connectors and make it a more compact unit.
Cons: This is a big one... the Select and Run buttons are on the adapter and do not map to the controller. I may also be able to address this, but hard wiring one of the buttons (Run or Select) to the Select pins on the Megadrive port.
Other than that, 1 & 2 map to C & B. Which is fairly comfortable.
