PSP Go in 2019 without CFW

Hi, I want to buy a PSP Go since my PSP 3000 died, but I want to try to keep things clean and not install CFW, can you guys recommend it? I heard you can still download games from the PSN Store, is this true? And also, what happens for the games available for UMD but not for PSN? At last, if I go for CFW can I still connect to PSN? Thanks.
