Wireless controllers for the TurboGrafx?

Does anyone know of a way to use an 8bitdo M30 on the TurboGrafx/PC Engine? Is there a Megadrive to PC Engine controller adapter that might work with the 8bitdo retro receiver? Is there another setup that might work that’s not the old style IR?
