Bleemsync not booting with USB 3 OTG

So I installed Bleemsync with a usb2 and that works all fine, installed the kernel update too for OTG support, but my usb3 sticks still arent working when plugged into a OTG cable. If i plug in my usb2 into the OTG it does work however. any idea what i might be doing wrong or misunderstanding.
