Looking for two gamea from my childhood.

When I was young, I've played some Maater System, although my brother had a Famiclone and a Mega Drive, so maybe this game I am looking for could be a NES one. The SMS was from a friend of mine and, he had some games like Alex Kidd and I really don't remember any other, that's the reason of this post. So a remember of a game(RPG genre I think) in particular, the game had a predominantly green colored background, you are a human, and you could talk and party with some anthropomorphic animals, so they start to follow you, I remember too of some animals needing to be "tamed" to get friendly. Another game I remember was from a guy(predominantly dark purple for what I remember) that walk a entire phase(or maybe the entire game), above a fence.
