Mouse and keyboard advice

Hey peeps. I play a lot of fps games on Xbox and I feel like it's time to up my game and migrate from controller to mouse and keyboard. For those of you that made the transition, do you think your game improved? Also what model mouse and keyboard did you purchase? I've seen so many different models but I can't decide on what to settle on (price isn't an issue).

Tdlr: Want a mouse and keyboard for Xbox, but don't know what to get.
