Spacing between cabinets

So I finally now have enough working cabinets to worry about where they go, lol. The easy solution seems to be to just but them right up next to each other. One of my concerns is elbow room on multiplayer games. I haven't been to a real arcade in a long time, but is that how 2 player games were positioned and you were just shoulder to shoulder if it was busy?

I was looking up videos to see how others had them and I saw these cool little table/spacers at one.
