Do any games exist where there isn't a main story, but a bunch of side stories instead.

I just want a game that's a big world where I don't have to do a main story with a main character and I can basically just do side quests. I mean this as in no main story at all. I want all the focus to be on what you encounter not even like a Bethesda game where you can technically divert from the main story. That's the best I can describe it. I thought Kingdom Come Deliverance was a bit like that but not really and I couldn't get into it.
