Raspberry Pi RAM Usage for Camera

Hey everyone. Curious before I pre-order a Raspberry Pi 5 how much RAM do Pi cameras take generally? I am thinking of using my Pi to do eye tracking and move multiple motors. I would also like to make my system portable (not sure if that makes a difference). Thanks!
