I have questions about assembly code on raspberry pi 4

Post by /RaspberryPi »

For background, I am a second year computer engineering student and I am currently taking assembly and embedded systems. I am using an ARM cortex M0+ based processor for the class. I have interest in writing assembly code with my raspberry pi 4 model b. Is there an IDE like Keil uVision for the CPU that is on the raspberry pi and is there a way to load the code onto it like a M0+ based microcontroller board? If there is, please comment how I can get it. Also, is there like a reference book for the CPU on the raspberry pi 4 model b? I know I could just write a program and run it with the OS, but I just like coding in assembly. Also is there a reference book for the raspberry pi 4 model b on how I could access the different devices on it?
