DVD audio cutting out?

I recently burned a DVD that had a video that my friends and I made, and i wanted to display it on a tv. My PS2 is my primary DVD player. For some reason, about a minute into the DVD, the audio cuts out and does not come back on. It works fine on my laptop, is there something wrong with my PS2, can it not read burned DVDs as well? Any advice or info helps!
