CM15A X10 usb controller not detected

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I have two different CM15As and when I plug them individually into my pi 4/usb they aren't seen. If I take these same CM15As and plug them into windows computers with the same wires they are detected.

Is there something I need to do to have this hardware visible to my pi? Any drivers I need to add?

Everything I've read says they should be detected right away. What am I missing?

I'm a total newbie to raspberry pi's so would really appreciate your help.
