Finding the most obscure NES game

Post by /nes »

You read the title. You know what this post is about, so let's get into it.

How did I find the most obscure NES game? Well, I went to GameFAQs and laboriously collected every single NES game, got the data of how many people rated each game, and went from there.

For comparison, Super Mario Bros 3 (the most voted-on game) has a whopping 6731 votes.

Now, there's 1 interesting dilemma that comes with this. Should I count unlicensed games? Well, I'll make 2 separate lists for licensed and unlicensed, because I feel like it.

Anything with 75 votes and under is obscure to me. Here we go.
