Ps2toHDMI or Component cables & an HDMI converter

Post by /playstation2 »

A question that I know gets asked a lot but I haven’t seen this particular setup. I’ve got a tv which only has HDMI inputs, no component or composite. Currently I’m running composite cables through a RCA2HDMI converter. The picture is pretty dark and a little blurry.

I know component is superior so is it worth getting some component cables and running them through a component to HDMI converter or going straight for the PS2 to HDMI dongle thing?

(I know the retrotink would be the preferable option but I’m not sure I can justify that kind of outlay and I’m not even sure they’re available here in the UK)
