HELP PLEASE im trying to remember this old xbox game i played

The games about this girl that fights monsters with a sword but she can also control some of them, like she can ride on top of certain ones, dog like monsters, its not like those anime ones. That’s literally all that pops up when i search up “game with girl that fights monsters with swordâ€￾ please anyone help
