need some help with region lock

[Released: 2005] As the second console from Microsoft, the XBOX 360 completely sold out upon release in all regions except in Japan. About 33% of all consoles became defective making it the most unreliable console ever created.

Here's the deal, I blew 40 bucks on a standalone Skylanders copy and didn't notice it was a PAL version, I thought there wouldbe no problem since my console has an LTU/LT 3.0 unlock. I don't think I can get my money back so I need some help to try and make it work Can anyone here give me a hand?
