Can I use FATXplorer to install a new SSD/HDD in my Xbox 360?

[Released: 2005] As the second console from Microsoft, the XBOX 360 completely sold out upon release in all regions except in Japan. About 33% of all consoles became defective making it the most unreliable console ever created.

Title explains it all. Just got a 360 for free off the side of the road, and it was missing an HDD. Could I use FATXplorer to use an off-the-shelf 2.5 inch as an internal drive? Console is unmodded.
