How to charge a PSP Go

I've had a psp go for a while but ended up losing my charging cable for it. It was official, but just the usb cable, I didn't have an ac adapter. My Go would charge just fine with that cable forever.
After I lost the official cable, I bought one off ebay and it's not working. Can't even get the orange light to show. Are these fake cables, has anyone else experienced anything like this? Where can I buy reliable cables for my Go?
