Screen goes black after using any streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Disney). Stays this way even if app is exited. Any ideas

Any time I try to watch shows, regardless of which app I use, the screen will immediately go black or will after a short while. Hulu I can usually get about 20-30 min but Netflix is on launch. Normal restart does not fix. I usually have to unplug and power cycle it a couple times. Audio is still fine.
