Xbox custom Elite controller question

[Released: 2013] Moving away from its predecessor's PowerPC-based architecture, the Xbox One marks a shift back to the x86 architecture used in the original Xbox; it features an AMD Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) built around the x86-64 instruction set.

Xbox custom Elite controller question

Post by /xboxone »

So, I saw that I can design a custom Xbox Elite controller now, and I had one question. If I bought it with the faceted d-pad, can I take it off and use the normal d-pad or does it not work like that? I’ve never owned an Elite controller before so idk how it works and idk if I’ll even like the faceted compared to the normal d-pad.
Thanks in advance for any answers I get, I appreciate it
