Can I use a PSP Street D-Pad and Analog stick in a PSP-3000?

[Released: 2004] The PSP is the only handheld console to use an optical disc format as its primary storage medium. Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen and robust multi-media capabilities.

Can I use a PSP Street D-Pad and Analog stick in a PSP-3000?

Post by /psp »

I picked up a PSP-3000 on my country’s Ebay equivalent for about 12 dollars missing a battery and with a D-Pad and Analog that don’t work, but it turns on completely fine and all other buttons work a-okay. I have a PSP Street with a working battery, D-Pad and Analog stick.
Can I swap any of those components from the Street to the 3000? Also, is there any way I can check if the D-Pad and Analog are actually broken or if they’re just stuck? Thank you!
