How to Patch Games for 480p on v1.6 Xbox

I'm trying to patch my games per the instructions here: https://consolemods.org/wiki/Xbox:1.6_Xbox_Patches
I copied the game loader script to E:/Applications/XBMC/scripts and it shows up in my XBMC scripts menu. When I click to run it, it shows the following error: "module is missing: script_module.limpp"
When I look in the /scripts/modules folder (or is "_modules") I see that the file is actually called "script.module.limpp". I tried renaming it and copying it to different locations but I cant get the error to go away.

That thread doesn't really give much info.
It seems like the whole period versus underscore thing is something to do with hidden files? I'm not clear on what I'm doing wrong and why it didn't just work
