OPL VMC Path change.

Hello, I just wanted to know if there's a way to change the path where the VMC is located/saved.
I have an SMB share to which I connect several PS2 consoles simultaneously, the problem is that all the consoles "read" the opl config located in the SMB share, thus loading the same virtual memory card.
Is there a way to load the games from the SMB while saving/loading the VMC from a pendrive/thumbstick?
TL;DR:
I want to load games from SMB. And the VMC from mass, so I can have each PS2 with its own pendrive/save file.
