Japanese Games on SNES Extra Pins

Does anyone know a list of Super Famicom games that have extra pins? I'm having a hard time finding straight answers, or if there is any product out there that accommodates the extra pins some games have.
Basically I'm trying to play a Japanese copy of Hagane on my SNES, so if I just cut out the tabs that block import games will it work? I don't know if Hagane has extra pins or not, some times it's just easier to ask on reddit then to google and read a bunch of websites that mostly don't answer the question lol
