Need help with GBP “One chipâ€￾ OSD IPS - issues with button inputs

Post by /gameboy »

For whatever reason, when I have the mod kit+wires installed, the select button doesn’t input at all. When I desolder everything as a test, all the GBP buttons/inputs work as they should.
As a side note, I tried resoldering the wires a few times and also had a lot of similar issues with the other buttons. As of right now though, it’s just the select button that isn’t working. I also triple checked that all my wires are soldered where they should.
So I think it’s safe to say the issue is related to the wiring, but what could it be specifically that I’m doing wrong? I’m still new to modding and my soldering skills aren’t great or super neat. Could that cause this issue?
