Flashing Custom Gameboy DMG ROMS

I'm slowly starting to work on refurbishing broken Gameboys, and I would like to get a cartridge to flash custom game ROMs onto it. I'm aware of the wiki page about it, but would like suggestions about what board to connect the cartridge to my PC. The cheaper ones are preferred. Thanks so much!
