I've seen the light (emulation on wii). Now can I get my genesis controllers connected?

[Released: 1988] The Sega Genesis was Sega's most successful console; though Sega has never released a total sales figure quote. Several add-ons were created including the Sega CD and Sega 32X which extended its capabilities.

Ordered an everdrive x5 for the genesis and hasn't arrived yet. In the meantime I compared a couple games I have on my genesis 2 (with composite) with my new genesis emulator on wii (with component cables) to my CRT. Mind blown at the clarity, lack of lag, and sound improvement with the wii version. I don't mind the dithering thing. Now how can I get genesis controllers to work with the wii? The raphnet ones are sold out (both wii ones and gamecube ones). Is there a better console to emulate with that I can use my genesis controllers with? Thanks.
