I need help with repairing a launch edition Xbox 360

[Released: 2005] As the second console from Microsoft, the XBOX 360 completely sold out upon release in all regions except in Japan. About 33% of all consoles became defective making it the most unreliable console ever created.

My friend gave me their Xbox 360 to fix because it has an “overheatingâ€￾ issue The fans go to max rpm almost as soon as it turns on and it just turns off there’s no dust from what I was able to see with the little it allowed me to open it. Does anyone know anything to attempt to fix it
