Its not connecting

I just bought a PSP Go and its not connecting to my laptop. When I plug it in it charges just fine but it wont connect. Forums online said that I could try to turn usb charge off, which I did and surprisingly it did not change anything. The Go was still getting charged, and still no connection. Bluetooth does not work either. It had a 6.39 promod cfw installed so I thought that could be the reason, so I updated the device to 6.61. Not the solution. Still have it though it just asks for a downgrade. Anybody have any idea about this? BTW: I also owned a Vita OLED before and that worked just fine via VitaShell usb connection.
