Ridge Racer vs Wipeout

I was playing Wipeout in the last days I enjoyed but why does it have to be that difficult? I aware of air brakes, speed up and weapon tricks but game has no excuse you have to be perfect! There is a very little line between gold and bronze medal.

Being that perffectionist and unforgiving killing all the fun.

On the other hand Ridge Racer which remind me very much Wipeout because of the modern-science fiction type of atmosphere is full of fun, controlling, drifting, high speed announcer voice all adding another level to its excitement.
