N64 FlashRAM durability

Didn't find much, other than making sure to run the games once in a while. Anyone have more insights or possible durability problems with the flash storage?
Would be cool to read some in-depth stuff about the storage memory. Who designed it, write ratings if such exist from the manufacturer, etc. Thanks
