Bomberman with 8 players possible?

Hello redditors
I am wondering if it is possible to play any Bomberman title on the SNES with two multitaps.
I am a bit frustrated that the Saturn can handle two multitaps and 10 players, so that's why I ask that.
First it would be interesting if it would work from an hardware standpoint and if there is any hidden mode, unofficial mods or IPS patches for any title.
