First 30 seconds of Hard Corps

[Released: 1988] The Sega Genesis was Sega's most successful console; though Sega has never released a total sales figure quote. Several add-ons were created including the Sega CD and Sega 32X which extended its capabilities.

First 30 seconds of Hard Corps

Am I crazy or is the first 30 seconds of the game basically the hardest stretch due to minor randomness? I can clear up to stage 6 (top choice routes) without a miss, but 50% of the time I start a new run I get caught by something stupid.
