XStation PAL 50hz issue?

[Released: 1994] Sony entered into an agreement with Nintendo to develop a CD-ROM attachment, for the Super Nintendo. Due to contractual problems it was never released, and instead, a modified version was introduced by Sony called the PlayStation.

XStation PAL 50hz issue?

So I just got an XStation since I heard from people it's vastly superior to the PSIO. However, every time I tested a PAL game I keep getting no signal on my RetroTink. Never happened to me with the PSIO. I am wondering if it's because the XStation hardware revision is 1001 whereas my PSIO is 7501. I also heard that the 5501 is the best because compatibility with the HDMI mod but I don't care as much about it. Is there something I am doing wrong? My firmware is up to date.
